Bono, or Paul David Hewson as he is known in real life, is best known for being the main vocalist of the massively popular Irish rock band U2. Since forming the band back in 1976 along with band members The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr, U2 have become massively successful on a global scale with a string of Platinum selling albums including The Joshua Tree, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and their latest release No Line on the Horizon, they have also gone on to win an incredible 22 Grammy Awards since The Joshua Tree in 1988!
Bono is not just famous for his music but is also well known for his activism concerning Africa, for which he co-founded DATA, EDUN, the ONE Campaign and Product RED. This Product RED brand has also been licensed to partner companies including American Express, Apple, Dell, and the fashion brand Giorgio Armani. Each of these partner companies create a product with the Product RED logo with a percentage of the profits from the sale of these products going to the Global Fund.
Giorgio Armani have recently released a special edition pair of their NEW EA 9592 Sunglasses (EA 9592/S Product RED) as worn by Bono in many of his recent TV and concert appearances.
